So. Im 18. And there is almost NOTHING for me and my friends to do. The Mall gets boring after going there every day. And there are only SO many movies at the theatre to watch. And Ice Skating every friday isent cutting it anymore.
We Need something else to do. We Tryed bowling but its WAY to expensive.
video games
tubing in the potomac river
hiking around cunningham falls
skateboarding downtown
start a band
throw a dance party at the parking deck
find a rock concert
make toy rockets
I'm not trying to be a prick, but a LOT of the events we have posted are 18 and up. The reagan years show on Friday was all ages, and a really good time. Coming up, we've got 72 play fest, whitewater rafting, the frederick float, and the independence day celebration, all of which you could do. If these aren't of interest, then did you have anything more specific in mind?

Go out into the county to explore, see what you can find. Ever been hiking through the mountains, fishing on the potomac? Ever explored the history of the county itself. I'm only a few years older and you, and these are things I found myself doing at your age because they were considerably cheaper than movies and ice skating.
Sad to say, but you gotta find your own fun. You could always hop on one of two highways and end up in the cities surrounding us. Don't limit yourself to mundane fun, find something intellectually stimulating
Maybe you and your friends would be interested in starting a percussion group and can work at performing live shows. Want ideas on what and how contact me.
I feel you. Your best bet s going to Downtown Frederick and chilling out there for a while. It gets old if you been there a thousand times before, but if you haven't, there's a lot of really cool stores around there. Another thing you can do is look at antiques, but if historical things don't interest you then you're out of luck.
